O King of Kings, my king as a baby, In the humble manger, beside his mother, Gentle Mary, singing him a lullaby; That holy family which redeemed each nation. Tonight is the night that promises us peace Since Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden; God as an infant in the lowly stable – O joyous news that each prophet told.
