Is oighreachd air leth dhut Na h-Eileanan Siar, ’s na h-eòin dhut a’ seinn ann Le aoibhneas cho fìor, A’ tairgsinn an ciùil Gu do chrùn-chathair àrd, Gach pong san laoidh-mholaidh Nad onair a-mhàin. Tha sinne mar ionann A’ togail ar ciùil, ’S le tabhartas ceòlmhor A’ glòradh do chliù. O, aonaich na h-Èileanan ’S beannaich an àl- Le thusa bhith stiùireadh, Bidh’n cùrsa nas fheàrr. O chobhair nan deòraidh, A sheòlaid nan gràs, A dhìdein nan cinneach Bhon gineadh gu ‘m bàs, Bi dhuinne nad fhasgadh Air taisdeal ar beò, Nad bhoillsgeadh san dùbh’reachd Nuair ’s dùmh’l ‘ios an ceò.

The Western Isles are A wonderful estate for you, With birds singing for you there With such true joy, Offering their music To your high coronation seat, With each note in the hymn of praise In your honour alone. We are the same Raising a tune, And with a musical offering Giving glory to your renown. O, unite the Islands And bless their people With you stearing us, The journey will be better. O, the help of the afflicted, Deliverer of grace, Scntuary of the people From their conception to their death, Be a shelter for us On our journey of life, A beacon in the darkness When the fog is at its thickest.
